Navy Bandhani Zafu Meditation Cushion
Navy Bandhani Zafu Meditation Cushion
Navy Bandhani Zafu Meditation Cushion's delicate, complicated pattern is inspired by the dots and circles of bandhani tie and dye textiles. From the word bandhan, Hindi for tying up, bandhani is used in the turbans, saris and skirts of Rajasthan and Gujurat. Hand-block printed in jet black for depth and richness. Finished with illuminating orange detail. Includes a colorful tassel like those seen on the camels of Rajasthan’s great Thar Desert. Divine in any home practice or studio interior.
Provides spine support and alignment when meditating and during pranayama practice. Buckwheat hull fill adjusts to body contours. For leg and knee support and comfort, pair Black Bandhani Zafu with a chattra zabuton. So lovely you won’t want to put your chattra meditation cushions away.
100% cotton cover hand-crafted in India; integrated handle; lined with 100% cotton liner. Filled with US buckwheat hulls. Do not heat.
The artisan's hand work is revealed in each chattra textile, including print density and block alignment; imperfections are characteristic and add to the charm of this traditional technique.
